From a technology perspective, cyberspace is defined as the global network of interdependent information technology infrastructures, telecommunications networks and computer processing systems.  From an individual perspective, cyberspace is how ideas are exchanged, information is shared, business is conducted, games are played and people are connected.

Yet despite immense opportunity, cyberspace, as described in our Nation’s 2010 National Security Strategy, enables “one of the most serious national security, public safety, and economic challenges we face as a nation.”
